Erato comes with 3 single ended line inputs. Erato provides a 6.35mm phones jack connector along with a 4pin XLR to plug in your headphones. Additionally Erato provides a preamplifier output.
Gold plated RCA and XLR connectors are implemented for the signal inputs/outputs.
For the volume control the classic blue Alps is used.
Carefully selected values and types of the electronic components contribute to the reliable circuits operation and the high sound quality of Erato. High performance Icel capacitors are used on the signal path. The power supply circuit uses a large amount of capacitance to provide a very clean and ripple free DC high voltage to the tubes.
The meticulous PCB design ensures excellent behavior in SNR, distortion and channel separation. Power wiring uses high quality copper cables of more-than-needed AWG gauge, to achieve low impedance power transfer. All power cables are twisted in pairs to minimize the electromagnetic interference.
The handmade power transformer is tested thoroughly for quality and reliability. The positioning of the transformer is such that minimizes the interference with the electronic circuits. Furthermore the transformer has copper foil shielding.
